“Healing starts with accepting the past and embracing the possibilities of tomorrow.”
Danielle is a counseling graduate intern who enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. She is pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, having previously earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist University.
She is deeply passionate about supporting clients as they navigate anxiety, life transitions, and personal growth. Danielle brings a natural warmth and acceptance to her counseling practice, creating a safe environment to encourage clients and help them feel truly seen, heard, and valued.
Danielle uses an affirming, compassionate, and client-centered approach. She believes in a collaborative therapeutic relationship, helping clients feel fully supported as they build confidence and work toward meaningful change. Her methods are tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all solution.
In her practice, Danielle integrates evidence-based methods such as:
Person-Centered Therapy: Ensuring the client’s voice, values, and goals always guide the therapeutic journey.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helping clients identify and reshape negative thought patterns and behaviors.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Providing practical skills for emotional regulation, mindfulness, and distress tolerance.
Danielle may be a strong fit for clients who are navigating:
Adolescents & Young Adults: Supporting younger individuals through the unique challenges of youth and early adulthood.
Life Transitions: Helping clients find clarity and grounding during major life shifts and changes.
Anxiety & Depression: Providing a compassionate space and practical tools for those dealing with anxious thoughts or depressive symptoms.
Personal Growth: Empowering individuals who want to build self-confidence and create lasting, positive change.
